The principal dentist at Caterham Dental Centre in Surrey had been in this role since January 2001 when it was decided to undertake a refurbishment with the help of Henry Schein. At this mixed practice, they have embraced the challenges of adult orthodontics while providing high-quality clinical care in implantology and restorative dentistry.

As the Caterham practice flourished, the decision was made to expand the business model to include three new practices, beginning with one in a new-build unit in Addlestone. The building identified for this venture was effectively an empty shell with just four walls, providing the opportunity to design and build a new practice from scratch.

Recognising the strong demand for NHS dental services in the Addlestone area, a bid for an NHS contract was submitted and successfully secured.

The vision for this practice was to create a state-of-the-art practice offering all the facilities patients expect from a leading private practice. The plan included five surgeries, an LDU room, a CBCT room, and a plant room. The interior was designed to be both aesthetic and equipped with the latest digital equipment, including intraoral scanners and digital X-ray machines.
